*URGENT PATIENT NOTICE* 22/03/2020
It has been a rapidly changing situation over the past couple of days. Having received further guidance we have made the difficult decision to postpone all routine appointments with immediate effect, in order to protect our staff and patients.
We are now providing
💥EMERGENCY DENTAL CARE ONLY💥
If you have an appointment booked for routine examinations or treatment this week, please do not attend. Our staff will be in contact with you.
We will be available for dental emergencies for the foreseeable future and would ask our patients to be patient with us at this time.
Dental emergencies are classified as:
💥 SEVERE DENTAL PAIN
💥 SWELLING
💥 DENTAL TRAUMA
💥 BLEEDING
Please phone Saintfield Dental Care on 02897 519055 for further details and to be allocated an appointment time.
We will not be able to accept walk-ins and unfortunately are unable to treat patients who do not meet the above criteria.
We must insist on anyone using this service to attend on your own or with only one chaperone by arrangement with the practice.
You will be asked to use hand sanitisers on entering the practice and make payments by card only. If you wish remain in your car and ring us to let us know you are parked close by. We will ring you when you are called by the dentist.
If you have a raised temperature or new, continuous cough you must follow national guidance and remain at home and call NHS 111 for advice.
Hopefully as soon as this unprecedented situation is over, we can get back to some sort of normality.
